So cute! How do you get the fur so well done in acrylics? I've tried and failed so many times!

I friend of mine who by the way is a professional watercolor artist told me there are no lines in paintings only shadows and shapes. So everytime I can't figure out how to get something the way it is suppose to look, I just remind myself to paint what I see in the shape that it is. But to answer your question. I paint the darkest undertones first and then next to the darkest and so on. Sorta like painting with building blocks until I finally make it to the top of the stack and then FINISH UP with the Whiskers! ;-))
